History of Batik Indonesia

Batik is the ancestral culture and heritage of the country that need conserved Indonesia, there are three types of batik Batik, Batik cap, and Batik Painting. Batik is one of the assets of Indonesian national pride. Actually, from where the word "Batik" come from? The word batik comes from Java, which is from the word "amba" which means "writing" and "point" which means "point" the two words are combined into a "batik", meaning to write a point by point to produce beautiful work.

The types of Indonesian Batik

There are three types, namely: Batik, the fabric is decorated by hand according to a specific pattern or texture. Batik Cap, which is decorated with a cloth using an existing cap style. Batik Painting, Batik in a way that is painted directly on the white cloth. Batik in Indonesia is believed to have known since the time of the Majapahit empire. at the end of the eighteenth century or early nineteenth century, twentieth century batik became famous. The rapid development of batik, the women began working on batik art and became a popular clothing. batik was only done in the palace alone and used for the king, the royal family and followers of the king.
